Craft Room Makeover and Weekend Vlog Updates

Hello and welcome to another weekend vlog! I hope you're doing well and enjoying your weekend. In this vlog, I want to share with you some updates on my craft room makeover, as well as our Valentine's Day plans. It's been a while since my last vlog, but I've been busy with work and waiting for some Ikea deliveries for my craft room, which is why it's not finished yet. But, even though it's a bit messy, I still wanted to document my weekend and share it with you.

Weekend Vlog Updates

I have to admit, it's been a bit of a challenging week for me. I've been feeling tired and unmotivated, wanting to hide under the duvet and not come out. However, I've managed to push through and find some motivation today. The house is a mess, and it's starting to affect both me and my partner, Nathan. We really need to tackle the clutter and get organized.

One thing that has been keeping me somewhat motivated is working on my Etsy shop orders. I've been taking the delivery orders at around 4:30 pm, which coincides with Nathan finishing work and our daily dog walks. Walking in the snow has been quite enjoyable, and Max, our beloved furry companion, absolutely loves it.

Craft Room Makeover

Now, let's talk about the craft room makeover. Although it's not complete yet, I've made some progress. I've been working on making personalized Easter decorations with a paisley pattern, boho pattern, and embossed bunny designs. I've also been painting plain carrots and other Easter-themed items.

To better organize my decorations, I recently purchased a pinboard with pegs. It's been a game-changer, allowing me to neatly hang up all my different designs and themes. On the pinboard, I've organized my heart-shaped decorations, Easter bunny designs, stars, bones, houses, moons, mushrooms, and circle designs.

I also have separate boxes for the clay baubles I bought from Hobbycraft and the personalized decorations that are ready to be shipped. However, I might need another box in the future as my collection continues to grow. Despite the mess in my craft room, having these decorations brings me joy, and I can't wait to see them in people's homes.

Valentine's Day Plans and Grocery Shopping

As today is Valentine's Day weekend, Nathan and I had an idea for a fun activity. We both decided to cook a meal for each other but keep the recipes a secret. However, we ended up telling each other what we were planning to cook to make sure we had the right ingredients. So, we headed off to Sainsbury's, but separately, to do our grocery shopping.

Valentine's Day aside, we also needed to pick up a few things from The Range, as I haven't been there in a while and wanted to get some paints. Buying online can be more expensive, so I thought this would be a good opportunity to go to the store while we were in the area.

Snowy Adventures with Max

Before heading out, I wanted to share some adorable moments with Max in the snow. He absolutely loves it! Seeing him play and roll around in the snow brings so much happiness. Max is such a good boy, always full of energy and happiness. Going on walks with him in the snow has become a part of our routine, and it's a great way to spend some quality time together.

Motivation and Productivity Struggles

Lately, I've been noticing that the days seem shorter, especially when I finally find motivation to get things done. By the time I start working on tasks, it's already tea time, and then I feel tired again. It's frustrating because there's still so much to do, but the dark evenings make it difficult to accomplish everything. However, one thing that has been helping me stay motivated is listening to Harry Potter audiobooks. I'm almost finished with the series, and I've been considering starting it all over again because I've enjoyed it so much.

Conclusion

Well, that's it for now. Thank you for joining me on this weekend vlog and for following along with my craft room makeover and other adventures. I hope you enjoyed seeing Max's excitement in the snow and getting a glimpse of my progress with my Etsy shop orders. Even though it hasn't been the easiest week, I'm determined to keep pushing myself and finding motivation. I'll see you in the next part of this vlog, where I'll share our Valentine's Day celebrations. Take care and have a wonderful day!
