Introduction

Hey guys, welcome back to my channel! Today's video is going to be a little different. I'm super busy with fulfilling orders and working on new projects, so I thought it would be fun for you guys to join me and see what I do during my day. In this video, I'll be showcasing some of the Etsy orders I'm working on, demonstrating how my vinyl cutter works, and diving into other exciting projects, like laser cutting and designing leather patches. So let's get started!

Fulfilling Etsy Orders

One of the main things I'll be focusing on today is fulfilling my Etsy orders. I already have several orders out in the mailbox, and I still have a few more to complete. These orders mainly consist of vinyl decals, which I cut using my Silhouette Cameo Pro vinyl cutter. This machine is perfect for cutting wider rolls of vinyl, up to 24 inches wide, allowing me to handle larger vinyl decal projects. It also comes with a 24x24-inch cutting mat, but can also cut without a mat for added convenience.

Introducing the Vinyl Cutter

Let me show you my new vinyl cutter in more detail. The Silhouette Cameo Pro is equipped with cutting blades similar to those found in Cricut machines. However, its wider cutting capability makes it ideal for my larger vinyl decal projects. I'll be using this machine to fulfill my Etsy orders, ensuring high-quality vinyl decals for my customers.

Working on Wood Projects

In addition to vinyl decals, I also have a big wood project to tackle today. I'll be applying a coat of polyurethane on some cornhole boards I've been working on. These boards require a smooth and durable finish to ensure the longevity of the decals applied to them. After applying approximately four coats of polyurethane, including over the decals, the boards will be ready for shipment.

Weeding Vinyl Decals

Now that my wood project is underway, I can focus on another important task – weeding vinyl decals. I recently received a package of gray vinyl that I needed for my upcoming orders. I'll be weeding the freshly cut decals, removing the excess vinyl to create crisp and clean designs. To ensure a smooth removal process for my customers, I'll be applying transfer tape over the decals, preventing any tears or issues during application.

Designing Leather Patches

With the vinyl decals prepared and ready for packaging, I can move on to another exciting project – designing leather patches. Using Inkscape, a vector graphics editor, I've created unique designs for leather patches. I'll be using my laser cutter to engrave the black parts and cut the round sections out of the leather. These patches will add a personalized touch to hats and other accessories.

Laser Cutting Storage Boxes

Apart from leather patches, I've also come across a cute SVG cut file for creating storage boxes using a laser cutter. I'm eager to try it out and see how it turns out. The labels on the storage containers feature attractive fonts, making them visually appealing. Using wood ordered from Etsy, I'll be cutting out the designs and assembling the boxes.

Packaging Orders

Now that the projects are in progress, it's time to package up the completed orders and get them ready for shipment. I use various sizes of boxes, depending on the size of the decals. Larger decals are packed in larger boxes, while smaller decals have their dedicated boxes as well. I also include a thank you card and a freebie decal as a gesture of appreciation for my customers. Once the shipping labels are attached, the orders are good to go.

Conclusion

Thank you for joining me on this busy day of fulfilling orders and working on various projects. I hope you found this behind-the-scenes look into my daily routine insightful and inspiring. If you enjoyed this video, be sure to stay tuned for more content coming up on my channel. Next week, I'll be sharing a video on some new bottles I received from Tech Wrap.
