Introduction

Hello everyone and welcome back to my YouTube channel! In today's video, we will be working on fulfilling some Etsy orders. I have about 13 orders to work on, and it's going to be a mix of different tasks. Today, we will be focusing on painting as the first step in the order fulfillment process.

Gathering Supplies

Before we begin, let's head over to the inventory closet and gather all the supplies we need for today's orders. I recently upgraded my inventory closet with new storage units from Ikea. These units provide extra storage space and help keep my acrylics organized.

Upgrading Inventory Closet

I want to show you all the new units I got for my inventory area. I have a video coming up where I put together and organize these storage units, so stay tuned for that. With the new setup, I can store my acrylics more efficiently.

Painting Process

Now that we have gathered all the necessary supplies, let's start with the painting process. I've found that painting is the most time-consuming step, so it's best to get it out of the way first. We will be painting all the orders today, ensuring they have enough time to dry.

Computer Work and Vinyl Cutting

After the paint has dried overnight, we can move on to the computer work. This involves designing the order details and inputting them into the Cricut software. Once that is done, we will proceed with cutting the vinyl on the Cricut machine.

Applying Vinyl to Acrylics

With the vinyl cut, we'll start the process of weeding and then applying the vinyl lettering to the acrylics. This step adds the personalized touch to each order. If everything goes according to plan, we should be able to apply the vinyl to all the orders by the end of the day.

Packaging Orders

Once all the vinyl has been applied, we will take product pictures and proceed with packaging the orders. Our goal is to have them ready to be shipped out the next day, ensuring prompt delivery to our customers.

Unexpected Delays

Sometimes, things don't go as planned. Despite our efforts to stay on track, unexpected delays can occur. In such situations, it's important to adapt and roll with the punches. As a business owner, you have the freedom to adjust your schedule and prioritize what needs immediate attention.

Catching Up on Work

If we experience any setbacks, it's crucial to use the following day to catch up on missed tasks. By efficiently managing our time and focusing on the work at hand, we can quickly get back on track and ensure timely completion of the orders.

Finalizing Orders

After resuming work, we will finish up any pending tasks, such as taking product pictures and completing packaging. Our target is to have all orders ready for shipment by the end of the day. Once the orders are dropped off at the post office, we can finally celebrate the successful completion of our work.

Taking a Break

As a hardworking business owner, it's essential to take breaks and recharge. After fulfilling these orders, I have decided to take a well-deserved break by deactivating my Etsy shop temporarily. This break will allow me to relax and spend quality time with my family. It's important to prioritize self-care and enjoy moments of leisure.
